55 Powerful Joe Dispenza Quotes

#1

“Your thoughts are incredibly powerful. Choose yours wisely.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#2

“The latest research supports the notion that we have a natural ability to change the brain and body by thought alone so that it looks biologically like some future event has already happened. Because you can make thought more real than anything else, you can change who you are from brain cell to gene, given the right understanding.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#3

“Can you accept the notion that once you change your internal state, you don’t need the external world to provide you with a reason to feel joy, gratitude, appreciation, or any other elevated emotion?” ~ Joe Dispenza

#4

“A memory without the emotional charge is called wisdom.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#5

“First, every day I would put all of my conscious attention on this intelligence within me and give it a plan, a template, a vision, with very specific orders, and then I would surrender my healing to this greater mind that has unlimited power, allowing it to do the healing for me. And second, I wouldn’t let any thought slip by my awareness that I didn’t want to experience.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#6

“To be empowered—to be free, to be unlimited, to be creative, to be genius, to be divine—that is who you are…. Once you feel this way, memorize this feeling; remember this feeling. This is who you really are….” ~ Joe Dispenza

#7

“Most change starts with the simple process of something outside of us altering something inside of us. If you begin the inward journey and start to change your inner world of thoughts and feelings, it should create an improved state of well-being. If you keep repeating the process in meditation, then in time, epigenetic changes should begin to alter your outer presentation—and you become your own placebo.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#8

“Warning: when feelings become the means of thinking, or if we cannot think greater than how we feel, we can never change. To change is to think greater than how we feel. To change is to act greater than the familiar feelings of the memorized self.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#9

“Your thoughts and feelings come from your past memories. If you think and feel a certain way, you begin to create an attitude. An attitude is a cycle of short-term thoughts and feelings experienced over and over again. Attitudes are shortened states of being. If you string a series of attitudes together, you create a belief. Beliefs are more elongated states of being and tend to become subconscious. When you add beliefs together, you create a perception. Your perceptions have everything to do with the choices you make, the behaviors you exhibit, the relationships you chose, and the realities you create.” ~ Joe Dispenza

Joe Dispenza Quote Image

“The only way we can change our lives is to change our energy — to change the electromagnetic field we are constantly broadcasting. In other words, to change our state of being, we have to change how we think and how we feel.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#11

“When our behaviors match our intentions, when our actions are equal to our thoughts, when our minds and our bodies are working together, when our words and our deeds are aligned … there is an immense power behind any individual.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#12

“The quantum field responds not to what we want; it responds to who we are being.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#13

Meditating is also a means for you to move beyond your analytical mind so that you can access your subconscious mind. That’s crucial since the subconscious is where all your bad habits and behaviors that you want to change reside.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#14

“To be happy with yourself in the present moment while maintaining a dream of your future is a grand recipe for manifestation. When you feel so whole that you no longer care whether “it” will happen, that’s when amazing things materialize before your eyes. I’ve learned that being whole is the perfect state of creation. I’ve seen this time and time again in witnessing true healings in people all over the world. They feel so complete that they no longer want, no longer feel lack, and no longer try to do it themselves. They let go, and to their amazement, something greater than they are responds—and they laugh at the simplicity of the process.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#15

“Think of it this way: the input remains the same, so the output has to remain the same. How, then, can you ever create anything new?” ~ Joe Dispenza

#16

“Psychologists tell us that by the time we’re in our mid-30s, our identity or personality will be completely formed. This means that for those of us over 35, we have memorized a select set of behaviors, attitudes, beliefs, emotional reactions, habits, skills, associative memories, conditioned responses, and perceptions that are now subconsciously programmed within us. Those programs are running us, because the body has become the mind. This means that we will think the same thoughts, feel the same feelings, react in identical ways, behave in the same manner, believe the same dogmas, and perceive reality the same ways. About 95 percent of who we are by midlife1 is a series of subconscious programs that have become automatic—driving a car, brushing our teeth, overeating when we’re stressed, worrying about our future, judging our friends, complaining about our lives, blaming our parents, not believing in ourselves, and insisting on being chronically unhappy, just to name a few.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#17

“Conscious thoughts, repeated often enough, become unconscious thinking.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#18

“we’re addicted to our beliefs; we’re addicted to the emotions of our past. We see our beliefs as truths, not ideas that we can change. If we have very strong beliefs about something, evidence to the contrary could be sitting right in front of us, but we may not see it because what we perceive is entirely different. We’ve in fact conditioned ourselves to believe all sorts of things that aren’t necessarily true—and many of these things are having a negative impact on our health and happiness.” ~ Joe Dispenza

Joe Dispenza Quotes

#19

True happiness and joy quote image

“The point is, true happiness has nothing to do with pleasure because the reliance on feeling good from such intensely stimulating things only moves us further from real joy.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#20

“You will learn that the true purpose of meditation is to get beyond the analytical mind and enter into the subconscious mind so you can make real and permanent changes. If you get up from meditation as the same person who sat down, nothing has happened to you on any level. When you meditate and connect to something greater, you can create and then memorize such coherence between your thoughts and feelings that nothing in your outer reality—no thing, no person, no condition at any place or time—could move you from that level of energy. Now you are mastering your environment, your body, and time.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#21

“If you can’t get beyond your stresses, your problems, and your pain, you can’t create a new future where those things don’t exist.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#22

“Making Genetic Changes We used to think that genes created disease and that we were at the mercy of our DNA. So if many people in someone’s family died of heart disease, we assumed that their chances of also developing heart disease would be pretty high. But we now know through the science of epigenetics that it’s not the gene that creates disease but the environment that programs our genes to create disease—and not just the external environment outside our body (cigarette smoke or pesticides, for example), but also the internal environment within our body: the environment outside our cells. What do I mean by the environment within our body? As I said previously, emotions are chemical feedback, the end products of experiences we have in our external environment. So as we react to a situation in our external environment that produces an emotion, the resulting internal chemistry can signal our genes to either turn on (up-regulating, or producing an increased expression of the gene) or to turn off (down-regulating, or producing a decreased expression of the gene). The gene itself doesn’t physically change—the expression of the gene changes, and that expression is what matters most because that is what affects our health and our lives.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#23

“A new state of being creates a new personality … a new personality produces a new personal reality. How will you know whether this meditative practice has activated your three brains to produce the intended effect? Simple: you will feel different as a result of investing in the process.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#24

“Reason this: When you think from your past memories, you can only create past experiences. As all of the “knowns” in your life cause your brain to think and feel in familiar ways, thus creating knowable outcomes, you continually reaffirm your life as you know it. And since your brain is equal to your environment, then each morning, your senses plug you into the same reality and initiate the same stream of consciousness.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#25

Meditation opens the door between the conscious and subconscious minds. We meditate to enter the operating system of the subconscious, where all of those unwanted habits and behaviors reside, and change them to more productive modes to support us in our lives.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#26

“Are we more likely to suffer from arthritis, stiff joints, poor memory, flagging energy, and decreased sex drive as we age, simply because that’s the version of the truth that ads, commercials, television shows, and media reports bombard us with? What other self-fulfilling prophecies are we creating in our minds without being aware of what we’re doing? And what “inevitable truths” can we successfully reverse simply through thinking new thoughts and choosing new beliefs?” ~ Joe Dispenza

#27

“By intentionally choosing to feel the elevated emotions of the heart rather than waiting for something outside of yourself to elicit those emotions, you become who you are truly meant to be—a heart-empowered individual.” ~ Joe Dispenza

Joe Dispenza Quotes

#28

quotes on past and future image

“We can’t create a new future while we’re living in our past. It’s simply impossible.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#29

“When you change your emotions, you can change the expression of your genes (turning some on and others off) because you are sending a new chemical signal to your DNA, which can then instruct your genes to make different proteins—up-regulating or down-regulating to make all kinds of new building blocks that can change the structure and function of your body.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#30

“If you focus on the known, you get the known. If you focus on the unknown, you create a possibility.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#31

“When one holds a dream independent of the environment, that’s greatness. Coming up, we’ll see that overcoming the environment is inextricably linked with overcoming the body and time. In Gandhi’s case, he was not swayed by what was happening in his outer world (environment), he didn’t worry about how he felt and what would happen to him (body), and he didn’t care how long it would take to realize the dream of freedom (time). He simply knew that all of these elements would sooner or later bend to his intentions.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#32

“The brain thinks, but the heart knows.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#33

“Reality is not one continuous and consistent stream, but is instead, a field of infinite possibilities over which we can exert enormous influence—that is if we tune into the proper levels of mind.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#34

“What we’re conditioned to believe about ourselves, and what we’re programmed to think other people think about us, affects our performance, including how successful we are.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#35

“If you can experience a healing over and over again in the inner world of thoughts and feelings, then in time, that healing should finally manifest as an outer experience. And if you make a thought as real as the experience in the external environment, shouldn’t there be evidence in your body and brain sooner or later? In other words, if you mentally rehearse that unknown future with a clear intention and an elevated emotion, and do it repeatedly, then based on what you’ve learned, you should have real neuroplastic changes in your brain and epigenetic changes in your body.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#36

“We usually give thanks for things when they’ve already happened. So in a sense, we’ve been hypnotized and conditioned into believing that we need a reason for joy, that we need a reason for gratitude.” ~ Joe Dispenza

Joe Dispenza Quotes

#37

Joe Dispenza Quote on Mind Body connection image

“Just as thoughts are the language of the brain, feelings are the language of the body. And how you think and how you feel create a state of being. A state of being is when your mind and body are working together. So your present state of being is your genuine mind-body connection.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#38

“If you were to start investing your attention and energy into the unknown, your body would then be able to follow your mind into the unknown—a new experience in your future.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#39

“It makes sense that we should concentrate not merely on avoiding negative emotions, like fear and anger, but also on consciously cultivating heartfelt, positive emotions, such as gratitude, joy, excitement, enthusiasm, fascination, awe, inspiration, wonder, trust, appreciation, kindness, compassion, and empowerment, to give us every advantage in maximizing our health.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#40

“We are creatures of habit. We think somewhere between 60,000 to 70,000 thoughts in one day,1 and 90 percent of those thoughts are exactly the same ones we had the day before.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#41

“Now, when a new day dawns for us after the long night of darkness and the phoenix rises regenerated from its ashes, we have invented a new self. And the physical, biological expression of the new self is literally becoming someone else. That’s true metamorphosis.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#42

“If you’re putting the bulk of your energy toward some issue in your external environment, there will be little left for your body’s internal environment.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#43

“There is an infinite field of energy that exists beyond our present concept of space and time, which unites all of us.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#44

“So if you want to change a belief or perception, you have to first change your state of being. And changing your state of being means changing your energy, because, in order for you to affect matter, you have to become more energy and less matter, more wave and less particle. That requires you to combine a clear intention and an elevated emotion—those are the two ingredients.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#45

“The quantum model, which states that all possibilities exist in this present moment, is your key to using the placebo effect for healing because it gives you permission to choose a new future for yourself and actually observe it into reality.” ~ Joe Dispenza

Joe Dispenza Quotes

#46

Joe Dispenza Quote on brain image

“Your brain and body don’t know the difference between having an actual experience in your life and just thinking about the experience—neurochemically, it’s the same.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#47

“So your thoughts drive your feelings, and your feelings drive your thoughts, and eventually this loop hardwires your brain into the same patterns, which conditions your body into the past. And because emotions are a record of past experiences, if you can’t think greater than how you feel, this thinking-feeling loop keeps you anchored to your past and creates a constant state of being. This is how the body becomes the mind—or in time, how your thoughts run you and your feelings own you.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#48

“Combine a clear intention with an uncompromising trust in possibility, then you’ll step into the unknown, and that’s when the supernatural starts to unfold. I think that you and I are at our best when we’re in this state of being.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#49

“As energy from the lower three centers is activated during the breath and moves up the spine to the brain, a torus field of electromagnetic energy is created around the body. When the pineal gland becomes activated, a reverse torus field of electromagnetic energy moving in the opposite direction draws energy through the top of the head into the body from the unified field. Since energy is frequency and frequency carries information, the pineal gland transduces that information into vivid imagery.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#50

“Personal change takes an intentional act of will, and it usually means that something was making us uncomfortable enough to want to do things differently. To evolve is to overcome the conditions in our life by changing something about ourselves.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#51

“How do you and I become supernatural? We have to begin to do what’s unnatural—that is, to give in the midst of crisis, when everyone is feeling lack and poverty; to love when everyone is angry and judging others; to demonstrate courage and peace when everyone else is in fear; to show kindness when others are displaying hostility and aggression; to surrender to possibility when the rest of the world is aggressively pushing to be first, trying to control outcomes, and fiercely competing in an endless drive to get to the top; to knowingly smile in the face of adversity, and to cultivate the feeling of wholeness when we’re diagnosed as sick.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#52

“We should never wait for science to give us permission to do the uncommon; if we do, then we are turning science into another religion. We should be brave enough to contemplate our lives, do what we thought was “outside the box,” and do it repeatedly. When we do that, we are on our way to a greater level of personal power.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#53

“Where you place your attention is where you place your energy. Once you fix your attention or your awareness or your mind on possibility, you place your energy there as well. As a result, you’re affecting matter with your attention or observation. The placebo effect is not fantasy, then; it’s quantum reality.” ~ Joe Dispenza

#54

“Meditation takes us from survival to creation; from separation to connection; from imbalance to balance; from emergency mode to growth-and-repair mode; and from the limiting emotions of fear, anger, and sadness to the expansive emotions of joy, freedom, and love.” ~ Joe Dispenza

There are many interpretations and definitions for the term “Spiritual Warrior”. May these quotes inspire you to stay committed to your spiritual path, personal evolution, and the journey of self-realization.

40 Spiritual Warrior Quotes

#1

“To be a spiritual warrior means to develop a special kind of courage, one that is innately intelligent, gentle, and fearless. Spiritual warriors can still be frightened, but even so, they are courageous enough to taste suffering, to relate clearly to their fundamental fear, and to draw out without evasion the lessons from difficulties.” ~ Sogyal Rinpoche

#2

“Only as a warrior can one withstand the path of knowledge. A warrior cannot complain or regret anything. His life is an endless challenge, and challenges cannot possibly be good or bad. Challenges are simply challenges.” ~ Carlos Castaneda

#3

“The warrior of light knows the importance of intuition. In the midst of battle, he does not have time to think of the enemy’s blows, and so he uses his instinct and obeys his angel. in times of peace, he deciphers the signs that God sends him. People say, “He’s mad.” Or, “He lives in a fantasy world.” Or even, “How can he possibly believe in such illogical things?” But the warrior knows that intuition is God’s alphabet and he continues listening to the wind and talking to the stars.” ~ Paulo Coelho

#4

“To be a spiritual warrior, one must have a broken heart; without a broken heart and the sense of tenderness and vulnerability, your warriorship is untrustworthy.” ~ Chogyam Trungpa

#5

“Intent is not a thought, or an object, or a wish. Intent is what can make a man succeed when his thoughts tell him that he is defeated. It operates in spite of the warrior’s indulgence. Intent is what makes him invulnerable. Intent is what sends a shaman through a wall, through space, to infinity.” ~ Carlos Castaneda

#6

“The things that can restore us have to get in, too. This is what the wisdom of an open heart is all about. All the spiritual traditions speak of this but I love the Tibetan tradition: “A spiritual warrior always has a crack in his heart because that is how the mysteries can get in.” ~ Mark Nepo

#7

“He who conquers himself is the mightiest warrior.” ~ Confucius

#8

“The spirit of a warrior is not geared to indulging and complaining, nor is it geared to winning or losing. The spirit of a warrior is geared only to struggle, and every struggle is a warrior’s last battle on earth. Thus the outcome matters very little to him. In his last battle on earth, a warrior lets his spirit flow free and clear. And as he wages his battle, knowing that his intent is impeccable, a warrior laughs and laughs.” ~ Carlos Castaneda

#9

“Warriors of light are not perfect. Their beauty lies in accepting this fact and still desiring to grow and to learn.” ~ Paulo Coelho

#13

“The strongest of us are those that are spiritually strong, and a spiritual warrior is one of vulnerability.” ~ Chogyam Trungpa

#15

“We warriors of light must be prepared to have patience in difficult times and to know that the Universe is conspiring in our favor, even though we may not understand how.” ~ Paulo Coelho

#16

“The real Art of Peace is not to sacrifice a single one of your warriors to defeat an enemy. Vanquish your foes by always keeping yourself in a safe and unassailable position; then no one will suffer any losses. The Way of a Warrior, the Art of Politics, is to stop trouble before it starts. It consists in defeating your adversaries spiritually by making them realize the folly of their actions. The Way of a Warrior is to establish harmony.” ~ Morihei Ueshiba

“But the healing place is within you. Healing is a gift you were granted at birth, just as you were granted others. Use your gifts, child. Use the beauty, the courage, the hope, and the love that is in you. Call upon your strength. Use compassion and faith. Even during sad times, joy is within you. Bring it forth. “Healing works through a kind of detox: things have got to come up in order to be released. That is true of our personal issues, and also our collective issues. #11

“By healing our mind with great compassion, we will be able to solve all our own problems and those of others. The positive thought of compassion will not only help us to recover from sickness but bring us peace, happiness, and satisfaction. It will enable us to enjoy life. It will also bring peace and happiness to our family and friends and to other people around us. Because we will have no negative thoughts toward them, the people — and even the animals — we deal with will feel happy. If we have loving kindness and compassion, our prime concern will always be not to hurt others, and this itself is healing. A compassionate person is the most powerful healer, not only of their own disease and other problems but of those of others. A person with loving kindness and compassion heals others simply by existing.” ~ Thubten Zopa

Suppose, finally, that the pill is all natural and costs nothing. Now would you take it? The pill exists. It is meditation.” ~ Jonathan Haidt

Wayne Dyer Quote on Spiritual Healing Image

”When you’re feeling unwell, remember that the same power that actually made your body knows how to restore it to its original state of well-being. All you have to do is remove the obstacles erected by you and your toxic world, and allow this healing power to flow through you.” ~ Wayne Dyer

#20

“The less the head, the more the wound will heal. No head there is no wound. Live a headless life. Move as a total being, and accept things.” ~ Osho

#21

“Meditation not only heals disease but brings great peace to the mind. It is the nature of positive thoughts to make us feel calm and relaxed. The best positive thoughts for healing are loving kindness and compassion. Loving kindness is the wish that others have happiness and the causes of happiness; great loving kindness is taking the responsibility upon ourselves to bring others happiness and its causes. Compassion is the wish that others be free from suffering and the causes of suffering; great compassion is taking the responsibility upon ourselves to free others from suffering and its causes. Generating these positive attitudes can heal disease. Compassion is the best healer. The most powerful healing comes from developing compassion for all other living beings, irrespective of their race, nationality, religious belief, or relationship to us. We need to feel compassion for all living beings, every single one of whom wants happiness and does not want suffering. We need to develop not only compassion, the wish to free everyone from all suffering, but great compassion, which means taking upon ourselves the responsibility for doing this. This brings deep and powerful healing.” ~ Thubten Zopa

#22

“We humans have lost the wisdom of genuinely resting and relaxing. We worry too much. We don’t allow our bodies to heal, and we don’t allow our minds and hearts to heal.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

#23

“Here is a mental treatment guaranteed to cure every ill that flesh is heir to: sit for half an hour every night and mentally forgive everyone against whom you have any ill will or antipathy.” ~ Charles Fillmore

#24

“When we understand our oneness with God, we are able to heal spiritually because we know that in divine Reality there is no human concept of anything or anybody to fix up. The more clearly we realise this, the more the human scene becomes subservient and harmonious. It falls into line with the overriding power and completeness of the infinite All.” ~ Donna Goddard

#25

“A spiritual reinterpretation of events gives us miraculous authority to command the winds, to part the waters, and to break all chains that bind us.” ~ Marianne Williamson

#26

“The wounded mind must be reset like a fractured bone. It cannot heal itself without spiritual realignment.” ~ Anthon St. Maarten

#27

“What people resist the most about spiritual healing is changing their minds.” ~ S. Kelley Harrell

Spiritual Healing Quotes

quotes about spiritual healing image

Healing is a different type of pain. It’s the pain of becoming aware of the power of one’s strength and weakness, of one’s capacity to love or do damage to oneself and to others, and of how the most challenging person to control in life is ultimately yourself.” ~ Caroline Myss

#29

“Live your life from your heart. Share from your heart. And your story will touch and heal people’s souls.” ~ Melody Beattie

#30

“Healing our mind is crucial, because otherwise our problems, which are beginningless, become endless. We may use medicine or some other external means to heal a particular disease, but the disease will return unless we heal our mind. If we do nothing to heal our mind, there is always the danger that we will again create the cause of the disease, that we will repeat the actions that caused us to become physically unhealthy. We will then experience the same illness in future lives, or even in this life.

Curing disease through external means is not the best solution because the cause of disease is not external. Bacteria, viruses, spirits, and so forth may act as external conditions for disease, but disease itself has no external cause. In the West, however, the external conditions for a particular disease are usually regarded as its cause. The cause of disease is not external; it is in the mind – or we could say, it is the mind. Disease is caused by our self-cherishing, ignorance, anger, attachment, and other delusions and by the negative actions motivated by these negative thoughts. Our negative thoughts and actions leave imprints on our mind, which then manifest as disease or other problems. The imprints also make it possible for disturbing thoughts and negative actions to arise again.

A physical sign necessarily has a physical cause, but the physical cause arises because of the inner cause, the imprints left on the mind by negative thoughts and actions. To fully understand disease, we have to understand the inner cause, which is the actual cause of disease and which also creates the physical conditions for disease. As long as we ignore its inner cause, we have no real cure for disease. We must study its development and recognize that its cause is in the mind. Once we recognize this, we will automatically understand that the healing of disease also has to come from the mind.”
~ Thubten Zopa

#31

“Anything that is held in secret cannot be healed. The light cannot reach that which is locked away in the dark.” ~ Donna Goddard

#32
healing quote image

“Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls your life.” ~ Akshay Dubey

#33

“Wounding and healing are not opposites. They’re part of the same thing. It is our wounds that enable us to be compassionate with the wounds of others. It is our limitations that make us kind to the limitations of other people. It is our loneliness that helps us to find other people or to even know they’re alone with an illness. I think I have served people perfectly with parts of myself I used to be ashamed of.” ~ Rachel Naomi Remen

#34

“True Healing will always begin with your thoughts. Master your thoughts and you will master your life.” ~ April Peerless

#35

“Perhaps the most important thing we bring to another person is the silence in us, not the sort of silence that is filled with unspoken criticism or hard withdrawal. The sort of silence that is a place of refuge, of rest, of acceptance of someone as they are. We are all hungry for this other silence. It is hard to find. In its presence, we can remember something beyond the moment, a strength on which to build a life. Silence is a place of great power and healing.” ~ Rachel Naomi Remen

#36

“Spiritual healing is often experienced as a state of harmony, balance, well-being, and joyfulness.” ~ Susan Barbara Apollon

#37

“Healing is not just about forgiveness or letting go. Healing is the conscious, intentional exhale full of new life and infinite potential that creates a sacred space for your evolving self to step into.” ~ April Green

#38

“Temples used to function in the old times as the places of therapy. The temple is the right place for therapy because the very idea is different. You are not a patient, you are not to be hospitalized, you are not to lie down on the psychiatrist’s couch; you go to the temple. You go to the temple to renew your contact with God. To renew your contact with God because he is the source of healing and health and wholeness.” ~ Osho

#39

“Every time you meditate, every time you do visualization for healing, every time you say something for healing the whole planet, you are connecting with like-minded people all over the planet who are doing the same thing.” ~ Louise Hay

#40

“Healing does not mean going back to the way things were before, but rather allowing what is now to move us closer to God.” ~ Ram Dass

Meditation gives you an inner light, and then wherever you are there is light and whatsoever you do, you do in full light and clarity. Hence there is never any guilt, no repentance, no looking back. “Man ordinarily is a robot. He lives apparently awake, but not really. He walks, he talks, he acts, but it is all as if in sleep – not conscious of what he is doing, not conscious of what he is saying, not conscious of all that surrounds him. He moves surrounded in a dark cloud of unawareness. According to Gautama the Buddha, this is the original sin: to live unconsciously, to act out of unconsciousness. In fact, the word ‘sin’ comes from a root which means forgetfulness. Sin simply means that we are not conscious, aware, alert, that we don’t have any inner light to guide us.” ~ Osho
