Law and order sap out their energy since they tend to thrive in the randomness of things. It becomes mind-numbing for them when there is no variety.
-
Early in life, they may have exhibited signs of depression
This can grow to the extent that they harbor suicidal thoughts. Indigo adults see the world as a cruel place that is only after money or power, and they don’t know where they fit in the grand scheme of things. Building relationships becomes a challenge because they are scared people will think of them as creepy.
-
Overly emotional
They are at the extreme ends of the emotional scale. Either they are too sensitive or show no feelings at all. Maintaining a balance becomes a tall order.

Have a sincere desire to make the world a better place
There is that strong urge to leave a positive mark in the world. Money and power don’t mean much to them other than the impact they leave. Whenever it proves difficult, indigo adults always see themselves as failures because the world is not receptive to their well-meaning efforts. This is why some become suicidal.
-
A dislike for administration or government authorities
There is a feeling of discontent. Indigo adults feel there is a better way of doing things. Whenever there is injustice or unfairness, they always speak out. In as much as they mean well, people often misunderstand and label them combative or troublemakers.
-
They can’t stand the misfortunes of others
Since they are too emotional, it becomes a struggle handling the pain. People may think they don’t care, but they are just avoiding feeling the suffering that others are experiencing. It explains why they often avoid watching sad news.
-
Have close bonds with animals
They are of the belief that animals aren’t second class inhabitants of the earth. Just like humans, they deserve a seat on the high table. Animal behavior fascinates them, and it is not rare to find them lost in animal books or documentaries.
