When you feel controlled by your fears, when you are constantly worried without any reason, when you fuss a lot – it’s time to consider your Root chakra healing. It is this chakra that is responsible for the instinct of self-preservation, vitality, courage, and eliminates unnecessary excitement and panic. In this article, I will share with you the most effective ways to balance your Root Chakra and get your peace and confidence back.

Root Chakra – Muladhara

The Root chakra is called “Muladhara”, which means “root support”.

Muladhara chakra is the first of the seven main energy centers of the human body. It is located in the perineum and coccyx. This chakra connects a person with the earth and provides a harmonious movement of energy in the body.

The Root chakra is the Foundation for all the other chakras above. Therefore, it is very important to pay special attention to this energy center and to always start your chakra balancing with it.

Features And Properties Of The Root Chakra

Muladhara chakra carries such qualities as confidence, calmness, balance, fearlessness, firmness, patience, solidity, determination and stability. People with a balanced Root chakra appreciate what they have, believe in themselves and their dreams and do not give up on failures.

If you experience emotional overstrain, fear, uncertainty, anger, disbelief in your own strength, sadness, anxiety then most likely your Muladhara is imbalanced. This means that your connection with the Earth is broken, the energy is not able to rise through the channels or does it in a wrong way, the balance is lost, the physical body weakens. Such an imbalance can cause diseases of the spine and the entire musculoskeletal system, diseases of kidneys, colon, and blood.

Muladhara corresponds to the food of red color, which is designed to saturate the body with the necessary energy and vitality. The value of products of this color lies in their ability to accelerate the flow of metabolic processes in our body. Also, this food is rich in flavonoids (these substances are responsible for good memory and sharp vision), lycopene (responsible for the normalization of blood), vitamin C (improves immunity and helps fight viral infections).

If you want to heal your Muladhara chakra then you should add more red food to your daily diet: tomatoes, sweet or hot pepper, red cabbage, etc. These products not only promote Root chakra healing but also optimize the body’s ability to resist free radicals. Thus, you create a natural barrier against the destruction of your DNA structure and prevent cancer.

Muladhara is ruled by Earth. That is why it is recommended to add to the diet those foods that belong to this element. I’m talking about beets, nuts, wheat, and legumes. Be sure to exclude meat from your diet, because it adversely affects this chakra.

Bija mantra for Muladhara chakra is “LAM”.
